On August 1, our CEO Raj Bagadi was a guest on Kucoin’s Telegram channel for a spectacular AMA. We were amazed by the great response and thank everyone for joining! Join our weekly AMA’s on to get your questions answered by Raj!
After the AMA, we announced another collaboration with Kucoin and Scallop: Trading Competition. The competition lasted from 1 August until 8 August and winners were distributed a total amount of $50,000 in SCLP!

Although we are experiencing a crypto winter, Team Scallop wanted to make it fun by hosting a “Crypto Winter Trading League” on for cryptocurrency trading lovers! We had different categories for all types of traders and the competition lasted from 1–7 August. We distributed a total amount of 50,000 SCLP tokens. Congratulations to the ones that grabbed their pieces from the reward pool! Tune in for our announcements for our next competitions!

We are excited to announce that we have obtained provisional regulatory approval from Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) in August! With this licence, Scallop will be engaging in UAE’s fast-growing digital assets ecosystem by running crypto-native services under complete regulatory oversight, supplying top-tier financial solutions to a new geographical pool of consumers and better serving the regional market.

Continuing on the “Know Your Crypto” series, we have released 3 articles to inform our newbie traders about Cardano (ADA), Ripple (XRP), Solana (SOL) and Polygon (MATIC). Along with those, we have released “ETH 2.0 — The Merge” to help our readers understand what is happening with Ethereum’s merge event scheduled for September 19th 2022. Exclusively for the Indian Freedom Day! We have hosted a giveaway for the growing Indian community this time that ran through 15–21 August. 100 lucky winners were awarded 10,000 SCLP. We were quite pleased with the response we got from our community and we’ll be hosting many more competitions for our communities in different countries. Different publications covered our giveaway! We were proud to collaborate with MahaDAO to host a “MAHA Trading Competition” on the . The top 15 traders with the highest volume grabbed their share from a 15,000 $MAHA pool. More competitions and collaborations are on the way, stay tuned!
